Hi all,
Im looking for some advice. I have a pair of blue Diamonds which constantly lay eggs which they normally eat. This time I have caged the eggs it is now day four since they have been laid. They now dont seem interested in fanning the eggs as much just every now and then.
My question is as I said it is now day four since they have laid the eggs they have not gone white or mouldy. I dont no if I should just leave them or clean them off. I have read most eggs after two days turn dark. I have also read some dont, some eggs dont hatch until 7 days. I would have thought if these eggs were not fertilised they would be white or mouldy by now. Any advice would be appreciated.
Darren.

Yellow means the egg is old; green can mean an abundance of riboflavin in the eating regimen, or that a bird has eaten a weed called shepherd's handbag; dull green demonstrates a bird has eaten oak or oak seeds (particularly in ducks). I recommend you clear them off.:wave2
