We've had discus for several years - 125 gal tank. Within last several months we've had 2 and now our 3rd big guy come down with this same sickness. At first we notice they hide alone at the top of tank for a couple days, still eating but seem sad. Then little white dots appear around the face/nose area. Gradually over a couple more days the pimple looking dots break open into red/bloody looking sores. See pictures below of our latest sick guy. It doesn't appear to be contagious in any scenario, no other discus or fish contract it. Unfortunately we have not been able to save the couple who have gotten this yet :(
