I am setting up 3 water aging barrels as it gets cold here in Melbourne. If you have any el cheapo 250 or 300 watt heaters that you no longer want or need, PM me or send me an email.

Cheers,
Ben

Maybe you can try ebay. I need a good heater, my 300 watts Rena almost cooked my tank. Luckily all the fish survived 36+ C last week.

Cheers mate.
I use pretty good quality heaters on my tanks just so nonthing bad happens.
But i can easily get away with an el cheapo one for heating the aged water.

cheers,
Ben

I only use good quality heaters too but I have rena that almost cooked my tank and tetra tec that has lowest temperature of 29.5 C even when I set the temperature gauge to the lowest point 22C. I find the old rena heaters (7 - 10 years old) were the most reliable.
