Hi! :D

Just thought a would share a pic of my snakeskins :wink:
I could only get a pic of the male as the female is a bit on the shy side!

hi again junior!
They are a breeding pair, just got them recently through this forum!
They spawned a few days back, only a small spawn. after a bit water change they got a bit spooked and ate their eggs. Still need a bit more time to settle in.

hehehe taking advantage of sunday. had visitors lastnight so mums asleep bro's and sis's are doing sumthin and im on the DF. so it is peaceful here. 100% concentration. hehehe

G'day Ben,

Looks like they are settling in well :wink: That first pic is the female, the male has less spotting :) They look better than I remember them :lol: wouldn't mind a few fry when they settle in hehe :wink: how many eggs did they lay last time ?

The fish have settled in well.
They spawned 5 days after i got them from you
but there were only around 100 eggs.
I was not too concerned about the first spawn, as i wanted them to really settled down.
Comming from your wonderful 4 x 2 foot tank with lots of discus into a 3 footer by them selves.

Hopefully %10 of the offspring should be A+ grade snake skins!

dr v, might have to wait a bit as i would like to grow up the young.

You seem to have a lot discus--how many tanks do you have and how many fish??

i can answer that 1 for you. he has more tanks than brain cells (5 prob). as for the discus more than he has tanks :)

very nice...so you have more than 15 tanks and 14 cells....haha...

This pair is really nice shape...they are little spotty as I see and might have been crossed with other spotty type in the past generations...what type of snake do you like? fine pattern or bold one?

thanks for your comments, yep i have a few tanks now! would love a few more though!
To be honest I love all discus,In the future i would like to set up a pair of good ols fashioned brown discus! they are so under rated. as far as ss go i like the bold ones.
