Hi all,

With the strip back of my display tank starting, here is the first of the surplus gear. It's a full Co2 setup comprising of a 2.6kg KegKing bottle, Up Aqua dual guage reg/solenoid, Weipro Ph controller and a DIY reactor. I found the reactor dissolves 100% when run on a my Aqua One CF-700 canister, meaning 0 bubbles in the tank and therefore no wasted gas!! :D

The adaptors on the reactor are for connection of 12/16mm hose although they can be easily changed to suit your current application.

The bottle still has quite a bit of gas, so pickup is the preferred option although I can bring it up to the Liverpool area for a small fee to cover fuel and time ;)

$250 for the lot..

Just a change of scene.. The heavily planted tank looks great when I have the time to maintain it correctly, but because of the time I've been spending away with work it's being neglected.
The Discus are all gone, and the plants are all up for sale - PM me if you're after any
I've got 5 new juvie Geophagus Tapajos now that are busily sifting through the substrate and starting to show colour already. I'll post pics once the scape has been re-done.

As far as I know.. :?:

What do you mean by 'genuine' and how would I tell if they're not? The guy I purchased them from is trying to establish himself as a full time breeder/supplier so I would think it's in his best interest to be on the level.. He certainly sounded extremely knowledgable about the various Geophagus species, and so far his fish look correct in terms of shape and colour - although early days..

I'll be happy to PM you the link to him if you like? Check him out and let me know if I've been stitched up..

flick me a pm wiht the link and i'll check it out

here is a link with some info about the struggle to tell the difference between Geophagus Sp. "tapajos" 'orange Head' and . Sp. "araguaia" 'orange Head"

It's VERY hard to find genuine Tapas in australia and even harder to correctly identify them as such. a lot of trust has to go into the breeder.
