De Bary UVE sterilizer question

Hi All,

I've just bought a De Bary UVE 25w, and when plug in, I can't see any light from the top, so is this normal? am I s'pose to see a dull light from the top?
please share your experience if you have one.

ohh no help from anyone.

just in case someone go through similar problems, I've been in contact with the supplier and they confirm you should see glow light from the top if it works. and they advise to take it apart to inspect all connectors.
