Second pic definately looks like a chequerboard. Not sure of the first.

Its hard too say, what one person calls a red turq another could call and super duper red lined dragon etc... The point is a name is only a sales gimic. At the end of the day good healthy fish speak for them selfs..

Of course discus strain names help too identify what discus it is without photo's but the name of the strain is really subject too the person viewing it..
