Hi all,
Wanting to know peoples opinions on what constitutes too great a ph swing on a daily basis in the tank.
I run a planted tank, which ive decided to switch off the co2 system for - Co2 and discus honestly just scares me too much - read so many horror stories etc. And given my plants are fairly low-tech plants for discus now anyway, i honestly don't need the co2 and they grow fine without it.
So basically now I encounter a (maximum) natural ph swing from 7.3-7.8 on a daily basis. The swing is most often 7.4-7.65.
Does such a swing present problems for discus health? i.e. is it too much?
