BREEDING PAIR HOPLO CATFISH

Needing some extra tank space, I have for sale of breeding pair of holpos
(Hoplosternum thoracatum).

I have had these guys for less than 3 months. When i bought them, the seller had some young that were bred from this pair.
They are less than 2 years old and are 12+ cm in size.
The male has just started building a bubble nest, they breed in autumm or early winter time. I have conditioned them on live blackworms and small earth worms ready for the breeding season. As stated, i really need the tank space but would sadly miss these catfish.

do hoplos go with discus?

hey Junior!
They come from the south America, slightly similar conditions discus do.
But i believe they are in areas slightly colder than where discus are from ,more of your south american cichlids.
They will go alreight in a tank with discus as long as the water does not go above 28.c
The only problem with them and discus are they are extremely active, so it would be best if hoplos and discus grow up together in the same tank.

hey junior!
i moved some of my tanks around, so i now have some room. they are still for sale, but i was thinking of keeping them!
All i have are lots of discus and these 2 cats!
no other fish other than that!
