I just got some Tetra colour bits, the tin has no used by date,is the food ok?

Just abit worried, should the used by date be on all dry foods? and is it "very" important?

Been using Sera Discus granules, discus luv em.

Been meaning to try Terta for awhile now,i hope the tetra food is ok,i wont use it till i read some replys.

So long as the foil seal on the top of the container was intact, I think it should be fine. My discus love tetra bits.

Although its a little off topic (and sorry for stealing the thread), how long does everyone keep the dried food AFTER opening the seal?

Cant really remember where i read it, but it said that the grade of the dried food deminishes over time. e.g. loss of vitamins and so forth.
I dont know if anyone thinks this because fish stores always sell the biggest possible amount and people seem to buy them.
