Hi

I've got a 200L RO storage tank, but never used aeration or heating etc.

I'm thinking about putting an air stone and air pump in it to see if it makes my discus any happier.

Any tips on size, running time etc?

Anything anyone else can suggest to do with an RO storage tank?

It's outside, so heating I think may cost me a small fortune.....so I think I'll give that a miss.

Cheers

Dave

An airstone won't hurt for circulation you could bomb it with peat to drop the ph lower if you wanted to

I only ever do a 20-25% water change, so the temp doesn't dip that much.

I just did a water change and it got down to 26.6, but 30 mins later and it's already 27.6 quickly on it's way to the usual 28.5.

Do you think this would still cause issues?

Mine breed at 29. cool water changes often get them in the moodl like the idea of filtering through peat mos, but then it wouldn't be ro water.
