I had decided to cut back to a single tank as I don't have the time to spend on them at the moment. I decided to rescape it over the past week or two doing a bit each night. I did a full substrate replacement too which is always painful.

There is a fantastic piece of DW under all those plants but you can see very little of it.

Tank is 900x500x400.
Eheim 2215 with a 2L pre filter. Soon to have an additional 2213 as well.
Substrate is a 50/50 mix of Tahitian Moon Sand and another inert course black sand or very fine gravel.
Ferts are Dino Pee, Spit and Dung only (No CO2).
3 x 3ft T5HO (2x6K5 & 1x10K).

Flora:
Narrow and Needle Leaf Java Fern
Windelov
Red and Tri Coloured Lotus
Blyxa
US Fissiden
Mini Pelia
Marimo on DW and balls
Crypt Balansae
Anubias Nana
Bolbitis
Frogbit

Fauna:
Pair of Red Turquoise Discus
Trio of Apistogramma Baenschi (Inka 50)
Small school of Ember Tetras
9 Otocinclus
Riffle, Chameleon and Red Cherry Shrimp

I'm not sure why they are crooked. I did rush the pics.

It's been worth the effort Ado. Looking good, and you've got some fantastic plants in there :P

Its an easy set up to maintain. I can get away with an hour or so per week if I'm quick and don't get interrupted.

Does she still lay for you?

They were laying about every 10 day from the moment I got her but they had a bit of a lovers tiff a couple of months ago and haven't laid since. They look to be getting along better this past couple of weeks though.

All was well when he was submissive when she wanted to push him around but he got jack of it and decided he wanted to be dominant and that's when they stopped laying. I am sure they will work it out eventually.
