What do you think of this pairing?

I have a Red Rose that has paired up with a Colbolt and are laying eggs every 2 weeks or so . Im just wondering if anyone has any idea what they would turn out like.
Its just i just dont want to put in the time if its not a good pairing.

Have a look through some of the posts about genetics and crossing strains. I seem to remember Hollowman mentioning that crossing a blue base and red base isn't a great idea due to peppering etc.. Although I could be wrong??

Not keen on that combination, you'll end up with 50% of each and jumbled genetic at best..

I've done this pairing, and ended up with muddy coloured juveniles. Unfortunately you don't end up with some taking after the mother and others taking after the father. The fry are simply a combination of both.

Try for a better pairing if you can, to keep the strains clean.

Thanks for you imput . I think will just leave them and let the eggs get eaten then .
