Please you really need to update your knowledge about feeding discus, you can only do that by reading alot, get by some aquarium magazines fom your local newsagent and follow the advice of some of the experts, also buy some books that specialise on discus, you can buy those from lots of different places, even online and read read read over and over and over again until you are sure of what you are doing, this is really the only way to stop killing your fish. I'm sorry if I sound patronising, but I get so upset when people lose their fish and all their work and enthusiasm due to lack of preparation.
You said you're feeding your fish tubifex worms, from what I've read there is nothing worse than tubifex worms for spreading disease to your fish, known carriers of disease, For the other foods brine shrimp and beef heart, they both contaminate water very quickly and unless you clean up very well after each feeding water quality falls rapidly, something discus just don't forgive especially when that young. If I were you I would stick to granulate and flakes, grind them to a suitable size if too big by hand so that it doesn't turn into powder, Hope I've been of some help, but you'll get much much more if like I've said you read alot.

Hi all, its been a while since I have been here and I have missed it.
Sorry, but there are no tubifex worms sold in Australia and hasn't been for about 20 years now so yes, you should update your knowledge and not believe everything you read from America.
Cheers, Mal
