Hi All,

I've recently bought a second hand tank that came with a 3d background that you glue into the inside of the tank. Looks really good and I am keen to use it however...

It's hollow background has me worried about anerobic water gathering behind the background. Is there anything I can do about this, it this even something to worry about?

Thanks

I have one on my 4 foot and I know what you mean, but it also has some small ho;es that I think at least help the water drain from the back during water changes, so far I have had not trouble. Make sure you use aquarium safe silicon to attach it to the back. HTH

i wouldn't worry, none of them are water tight so you will always get some flow behind them.

Thanks all for the feedback, I see how it goes, worst case i can alway put a air stone or something like that behind.
