Hi everyone, I'm looking to plant out my new 2 foot Discus cube with some amazon plants. Which shops would you recommend for some good quality plants?

Cheers :D

I wouldn't worry about a shop, just join the 'aquariumlife' forum. There's great info about plants and setup and a very active trading/sales area.
Otherwise, try these Aussie online sellers - excellent to deal with..

Absolutely endorse Swampy's comment. Have found both extremely knowledgeable with fantastic knowledge.

We have an excellent selection of plants available in store @ SLS.

If you head over this way, pop in and see our displays.

Kind regards,
George

TRUTH BE tOLD, GEORGE AT sls HAS SOME EXCELLENT PLANTS AND WAS ABLE TO GET ME SOME HARDER TO FIND PLANTS.

AUBURN AQUARIUM HAS ALSO BEEN EXCEPTIONAL AT FINDING PARTICULAR PLANTS FOR ME.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Will definitely go to SLS as I have been there before to admire the range of Discus.
Just need to save up a little bit more to get myself an Eruption.

I had a bad experience ordering plants online and am hesitant to go that road again.... Although having it recommended from this forum might make me change my mind about ordering plants online.

I've used the 2 that I recommended several times and couldn't be happier.
Not only did I get what I ordered and in pristine condition, but both sellers included free extras or other items that they thought would go along with my order. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Thanks Swampy, I might give it a try.
I had a look at the websites and I'm quite impressed with the range and pricing. I'm looking at some anubius for my driftwood centre piece, so I might order some of that online.

Have bought from this ebay seller and his quality is excellent. Postage was fast and flat rate no matter how many items you buy. This may not be the type your after just do a search of sellers items.

Adrian at ea also has some decent anubias.

Buy from other members of this and other forums. It will be a lot cheaper.

Other than that I can recommend Aquagreen, B&C, Aquaristic and Auburn Aquarium.
