Where do folk source their "O" rings from for the eheim double taps?

I have a 2213 with a leaky tap. I've tried cleaning & lubing the "O" ring with no luck...it still has a slow drip. So I went to the LFS to get new "O" rings only to find a pack of two will cost me $28!

Perhaps I'm a scrooge, but I figure anything more than $2 is a rip off.

I've tried plumbing and bearing places with no luck - they have the correct diameter O rings but the rubber is too thick. I can get the eheim ones sent over from Europe for $3.50 a pack but that seems a little extreme.

So what do you guys do?

Cheers,
Scott

Try an auto parts supplier like repco. They'll stock a huge range of o rings - you might get lucky. or they'll point you in the right direction.

Hi Scott,
Try
email: Trilby Tropicals Sales [sales@trilbytropicals.com]
www.TRILBYTROPICALS.com

Look at their website and email Matt.
They are US based.
I have purchased eheim, Lifeguard & Schego parts and am very happy with the service & price.
If it is not on their website ask if they can source it.
In relation to postage, provided it is a few 'SMALL LIGHT' items ask if they can post using First Class Mail - it is about $10 and takes longer.
You can mention Ray from Maroubra recommended them !!!
Hope this helps
