Discus Food

Hello, just thought i'd share this experience as i found it funny.
Yesterday i got some Glass Shrimp next to nothing, They were pretty big one's all around 3.5cm, so i thought ahh they are too big for my little 10cm Discus to eat, i'll chuck some in and see.(some of you already know how this will end)
So i put 20 Glass Shrimp in with the Discus, straight off no problem, the shrimp settle in soon running round the tank cleaning, eating etc, 3 hours later still no prob so i think yeah they'll be fine.
I got up this morning, go have a look in the tank :lol: :lol: :lol: Lucky if i can find 6 live Glassies left and got out 12 heads :lol: :lol: :lol: Glass shrimp = Discus Food.

Hi gumpy, i did the same but put 100 red cherry shrimp in one of my discus as keep circling the d/w picking them off.They lasted just 1 day it was a expensive dinner.Good clean up crew lol
