Hi Guys,

I have recently installed an Eheim Ecco Pro 3036 and it periodically blows lots of fine air bubbles (about every 60 seconds).

It is running the Eheim media supplied, bioMECH, SUBSTRAT pro, MECH pro and foam.

I don't know if I haven't primed it properly or if it has something to do with the media.

I am worried if it keeps happening it may damage the impeller or motor.

Cheers
Dave

Sounds like a priming problem turn it off give it a shake then turn it on again

I've tried that a few times and it hasn't helped.

It's got me buggered how to stop it.

I just had to replace my 0 rings too for the same problem! Worked a charm!!! Tricky buggers to get on right, make sure you DONT roll/twist them!!!

Good luck, im sure it will be all good with new rubbers.

Thanks for your replies guys.

I ended up lubricating the main O-ring with oil. Seems to have done the trick.
