which ro system?

I'm going to bite the bullet and get myself a ro system for my water. Just wondering whats a good brand to get? and do you have to add any kind of nutrient stuff to the water before adding to the tank?

Do you really need one? Unless you've got poor water quality or very hard water. I've read that you do need to put trace elements and minerals back into the water, which kinda defeats the purpose of ro imo.
Buy a rainwater tank instead.

thats a good point. I already use rainwater for my tanks and things are great and stable using that. I just thought maybe having a ro system, well to be honest i just wanna keep up with the 'jones's' so to speak :)
Maybe i should just leave things, save my money
