G'day just waiting on delivery of a new filter for my 4x2x2 planted tank then all set to add some discus. The tankmates are 20 x rosey neons, 20 x glowlight tetras, 2 x common bn, 2 x sae. The filter is mature and I will be swapping all the matrix over to the new filter so bacteria loss will be minimal.

I had originally planned on 6 x 6cm discus but after reading all the info have decided to go with 9 or 13cm fish. I'm not sure whether to add them 2 at a time over about 6 weeks or would it be better to add them all in one go? I think 6 fish at that size will affect the bio a fair bit but most of my experience is with Africans where adding them in bulk is better for agression spreading.

Cheers!

Maybe in 2 lots of 3 personally I'd add them all at once to share the aggro just step up your water changes for a couple of weeks as your filter catches up ( 2 weeks max)
