Hey All

Got a question re co2 gear, just got my new bottle reg and bubble counter from the net and it didnt show up with the diffuser i ordered so bought one today, trying to rig it up with normal air line as it didnt come with any in the kit also and the bloke today told me normal air line is fine to use,

I keep getting leaks at the top of the bubble counter and not sure if the line is the wrong size type?? or am i a gumby

Cheers Justin

Ps i am running it to a glass/ceramic diffuser in the tank

you need to buy special co2 tubing and you can buy it online. This is so you don't get leaks like you are getting at the moment with normal tubing

The black plastic tube used for garden micro irrigation systems makes for good Co2 tubing. Doesn't leak gas, available from your local hardware shop/Bunnings and cheap.

i think maybe one problem was on the buble counter it had a oring over the barbed end which when you screwed the clamp up it kinda pushed it back, took the o ring off to experiment and so far no leaks will keep a close eye on it. Thanks boys

Spray all your joins with soapy water. It will help show up any small leaks.
