He is my fish that I'm preforming force feed administering Metro (250mg per 100g food) as I have no success adding it to the water.

Now this fish has stopped eating. Only do this as a last resort as it could kill your fish - I suggest getting live artemia to absorb your metro then feed your fish that way as most will still eat live food.

It could kill your fish! - Its very effective this method. please do not overdose your fish!. The best wayt is to either get fry food or finely crush up fish flake. Do not use beef heart either

Tools of trade.

1. Syringe (I have cut the needle down to about 1.5Cm - make sure the hole on the needle is not flat shut if you cut the needle. You may need to lightly squeeze the needle opposite to your cut to open the hole)

2. Silicone tube (don't use air hose as its too big - buy a bike repair kit with the silicone inside)

3. A towel soaked in your tank water. Make sure to keep it warm

4. Fish.

If you find the little guy will not open he's mouth for you (I know I wouldn't) just press lightly underneath he's chin and slide your finger away from the
mouth.

Insertion has to be made very slow and easy. DO NOT FORCE!
You are trying to get the silicone end just in front of the gill cover (the side the mouth is on) then slowly push a very small amount (this depends on the size of your fish) - You will find that you where in the right position when you replace your fish into the tank food is not expelled from the gills. There is a chance with too much food you could block the gills so start out small amounts. Better to do this a few times rather than trying to get all the food into there in one go.
