good night all
I'm from Brazil and would like a clarification of some help and friends of this forum.
I have some discus with white stools, coughing up the feed, but with fins and open with normal color.
My suspicion is intestinal flagellates (hexamida).
What treatment friends use? I am available Seachem metronidazole, Sera Flagellol ... What is the dosage for treatment with metronidazole?
grateful for the help

Don't panic.
Wait for the experienced fishkeepers advice before dumping drugs into the water.
Have you done any treatments yet?

Do they otherwise look healthy? Swimming angle, respiration rate, etc.
What are you feeding them? Sometime lots of brine shrimp can give them white stools..

hth,

Old Dave

use metro at 25mg/L (1 tsp/200L) treat once every 48 hours with a water change of 30-50% before each dose.

if possible lower your ph to 5.8~6.0 and set your temp to 30C also add a little extra airation if you can.

repeat the treatment 3x minimum up to 5x will be ok.
