Hi Guys,

Well its been a little while since I did an update of the tank so I thought I would post some pics.

I now have 8 Discus to witch I have 3 confirmed pair as they have all laid eggs :)

I Have 2 x San Mera, 2 x Super Eruptions, 2 x White Butterflies, 2 x Blue Diamonds.

I removed the gravel so as to help with the maintanance of the tank and have added a Aqua Medic Nitrate Reducer now with 25% WC each week and the added Nitrate Reducer my nitrates are only just registering on the Sera Test Kit.

All fish were purchased from marlon except the San Merah and are fed on my home made Discus Delight :D

I would say that my parameters are as follows

Ammonia 0.00
Nitrite 0.00
Nitrate 0.05
PH 6.8
Temp 30
KH 1
GH 3

They are a great collection! What size is your tank? And where did you get your driftwood?

Cheers,
Scott

Beautiful Mono!!

Those White Butterflies look seriously out of place in that tank though, so I'll do you a favour and take them off your hands :D

Since they're all well developed adults, have you considered doing a planted display - particularly with that driftwood and those Redline Torpedos.

With the right scape I think it would be spectacular, and be low maintenance!!

Cheers Scott the tank is 5 x 2 x 2.5 and the driftwood comes from Alex at City Pet & Aquarium he has some wonderful pieces in the shop at the moment.

Thanks for the coments Swampy you know ur right the butterflies do look out of place, you might as well come on over and collect them :D

As far as going planted I realy don't want to run any substrate in this tank so I think I will keep it simple this time around.

Please don't tease me.. For a split second I thought you were serious and almost jumped out of my skin with excitement!!

Then I caught on to the sarcasm and fell back to earth with a thud :(
