hi all,well sometime between 4;30pm and 6;30pm these have just laid eggs in all place's the in take pipe of the c/f.just as marlon said they would bugger,now its just a wait and c.would like to know what to do next, advice needed as it's my first time.would like to say thanks to marlon for this pair.

well done are they in there own tank how big is the tank if you get swimers you will have alot of work to do lol...

thanks all,no not in own tank but a communial tank.doute any will servive.will do what i can.

There is definately a perspex you can use but I dont know what grade etc.

I just remember the show on the Okinawa Aquarium and the big viewing window is made of like 30 or 60cm thick perspex...

this is what i think you should do get a 2ft tank put sponge filter air stone heater leave it bb no stones put a breeding cone or a pot in when she is about to lay her eggs turn air pump off when they are finished turn air pump back on.when you have swimmers take sponge filter out so the fry will go to the parents lower your water and keep up with your water changes they may eat the eggs but they will get it right some day give them time good luck....

now have wrigglers,perents are moving them to the corner behind in take pipe.If any make it, it's a plus parent's are first timers as am i.

for got 50-75% fertilized not bad when u dont expect it.thank's marlon u are always helpfull.

i think while moving wrigglers they decided to eat them.cant c any in the corner.put it down to first time spawn/parenting.better luck next time.

yep they will do this a few times before they get it right you should get them there own tank as i said in my post.if there is only one eating the fry you should take him or her out let the other do all the work

And the spawning continue's with them again.4:50pm today watched and i even video d the pair in action on my iphone.in the same place too.
