hi everyone,
just trying to fine some more fine black sand fo9r my new discus tank does anyone have any or know were i can get some cheep i have a 6x2x2

Very fine sand will travel through filters and muck them up and black in a discus tank while hightlighting their colours will also bring out their peppering and striations as they try to fit into their surroundings as they do in nature.

tahition moonsand by carib sea is ph neutran and wont reck your water its not cheep though $40 for 9kg

so what are you saying with the peppering i have a lot of a grade discus i dont want them getting peppering i was told that it came from the breeding stock not the enviroment that there in,does anyone have more info on this

discus will try and comoflage with their enviroment, as pigion blood based discus have no stripe to darken them selves up they will "pepper" its natural.
