I picked him up last night from Marlon.

I am VERY pleased with this fish. Very well developed and patterned, very thick and healthy. He settled quite quickly and was eating this morning.

That photo does not do him justice. I think you and I could use some photography tips. But if I say so myself he is a fine fish

Just going to put in a little plug for Marlon (aka Boxter's) and say that if you all like this fish so much, he has still got a few left. At the discounted price they are awesome fish for the $.

I got a hold of my bosses good Nikon D60 SLR over the weekend and here are the results. Only editting was cropping and an adjustment of colour to show the true colour (the camera was having trouble with the light in the tank.

Nice fish Pfeff,

I would rather Hermes than Hera but have no room for either.

Did you get a good pic of the very attractive "Brown Turq" you have from George? I am sure I could find room for that one.

Regards,

Bob

Sorry Bob,

No good pics of the Brown Turq. The AF on the lense is stuffed so I was manually focusing and looking through glasses through the small sight on the camera is rather hard.

I have about 5 blurring photos where the perspective is warped.

Thanks for your efforts Pfeff,

When I saw the pics/vid of those fish on the SLS I developed an immediate interest in the biggest of them. The one you took obviously.

I am sure he will have a long and enjoyable life with you.

Regards,

Bob
