Eheim 2260 Cannister

Im after some info from users of the large Eheim 2260 filter.
Ive just installed a new one on my 1200ltr Discus tank.
This is a show tank in the lounge and I have to turn the filter off to watch TV as the consistant buzzing is unbearable.
Ive tried playing with the fittings tention etc ,,, no luck.
Any one have any info to assist.

the 2260 uses an eheim 1260 pump, the pump itself its reasonably quiet for its size if its vbuzzing then its resonateing against something try putting a thick towl folded in half underneath it and make sure its not touching the sides of the cabinet.

Thanks Illusn, yeh mate Ive made a stand alone box for it, it dont touch a thing, only the base where its sitting.
