I have a one-meter tank (about 220 liters) that currently has 5 cory cats and 9 discus (5-7cm), and I have the following questions:
1) What will happen if I add a more mature discus (12-14cm)?
2) How many neons can I add?

Thanks.

To answer the first question.... 220L will be too small for the existing discus as they grow so adding more will not do any favours for the fish. As a general rule 50L per adult fish is a good guide.

To answer the second... If you keep neons with adult discus you will be able to add lots and lots over time as the discus will enjoy them as food :)

You will have big problems. 9 discus is a 220 litre is way overstocked already. I have 9 in a 450 litre and that is border line acceptable
