discus cone

hi all what do you use to put over your breeding cone to stop the parents from eating the eggs thanks.

gutter guard from bunnings i use plant anchors to make it sink

I use a bit of stainless steel mesh made to fit the cone.

i used flyscreen mesh the metal stuf but its black very small holes

give them time and they will stop themselves. whats to stop them from eating the fry once they hatch?
