HOW OFTEN DOES THE EHEIM SUBSTRAT PRO NEED TO BE REPLACED TO REMAIN EFFECTIVE ?

IS THE VOLUME OF SUBSTRAT PRO USED PROPORTIONAL TO THE DISCHARGE OF THE FILTER ?

I HAVE A EHEIM 2217 & 2028.

IS A LITRE OF PROSTRAT EACH ENOUGH.

THANKS RAY

substrate pro is a bio media as such the more the merrier, it lasts forever and never needs replacing in a 2217 or 2028 I'd use atleast 4L of it.

I think a more fitting questions is "where is the caps lock button located and what is its purpose?".

Ray the rule is 1 litter of media per 250 litters of water. I usually double this to be safe
