I have for sale a female Apistogramma Trifasciata. She is a great little mother and has provided me with many fry. Her mate has been passed on to a friend that needed a new male so i need a new home for her.

Damn ADO.... if I was back in Aust I'd be very tempted.. Great looking little fish.

What did your male look like (any pics?) and water parameters are you keeping her in?

I'm hoping to include a nice pair of Apistos in with Discus display if they're suited to the water conditions. I'll be looking to maintain 28'C temp.

3wks and counting!!! :D

I only have a 2ft cube with couple of adult german blue rams at the moment. I don't know how they'd fair in there.
My Discus are being kept with a mate (setup and all) but all bare bottom so not suitable for Apistos. Long term plan is for a 6ft planted setup for the lot of them and the 2ft for CRS/RCS.

Do you have male and female or too soon to tell?

Judging by their behaviour i would say its a pretty even mix of sexes.

Sweet.. I'll keep an eye out when I get home. I'm going through $$ like water at the moment preparing for my new display tank, so I need to keep a lid on spending to special/essential items only. Apisto's are boardering right on the edge of 'essential' :D

I got some quotes for a 6x2.5x2.5 yesterday - it's going to burn a big hole in my hip pocket if the 'boss' approves it.. ;)
