The orange fish has been laying eggs regularly for a long time now.
Her "partner" doesn't do the fertilising runs etc. Eggs usually goe within 24 hours. Probably 2 females.
It is time to split them up and give her the opportunity to become a mum. I might try for a new mate for the turq a little later.

Can't seem to attach pics, so here is a previous post of them.

Anyone have a suitable male available?
How about the variety name of the gold one?

thanks

Hi Dave,

If only this happened a couple of months ago, you could have had mine!! I had both mine for sale around May this year and no takers!! I had what I thought to be male and female, although I couldn't confirm it. They were sold to me as "Orange covers" from Sydney Discus World.
I ended up with a buyer just before I withdrew them all, but not until the larger of the 2 paired off with my "Sunset Beauty" (left of image) as a confirmed male so I've kept him. I think they'll make a strong cross.
SDW generally keeps Orange Covers as a standard item so I'd suggest giving him a call.
Sorry mate :(
