I am told that you can buy a small block 10cm x 20cm for about $16.
You can use it to monitor what you are filtering because changes colours for the different things it absorbs.
My interest is that a small slice can be added when bagging new fish.
apparently it can give you a visual warning if there is too much ammonia etc in the water.
Might be a handy addition for long distance transports?
