Im currently growing out A.Borelli "Opal" and A.Cacatuoide "Triple Red" which should be ready in 8-12 weeks time and A.Trifasciata soon after.

I've done some searching around for the images of all your varieties on Google and I'm a big fan of most of the strains you're keeping so I'll certainly let you know when I'm back. I have at least 1 female A.Nijsseni that you're welcome to for trade if you're interested when the time comes.

The plan for any fish I get is to be part of a planted 6x2.5x2.5 Discus display. I want to run it at 28-30C and I know that some Apisto strains don't appreciate the heat so I'll need your advice on a strain most suited to those conditions. The Discus are my primary focus so I need to chose species that are compatible rather than run a compromise setup.

What would be your recommendation for the above given that I also would like an Apisto with maximum colour and minimum aggression. Am I asking too much of Apistos for this situation?

A.Trafasciata seem to do fine in Discus conditions and are not aggressive.
