Here are some pics! Excuse my photography, taken using my mobile phone. Unfortunately I havent been able to get any pics of the Transvestitus yet as they are very camera shy.

Congrats on the growing collection!! I can't wait to see pics of the trifasciata male as he matures some more.

Ooooooh yeah I've been thinking about the alacrina for a good week now - if only I had the space!! But I figure in time someone will have fry.

If you have never kept iniridae in the past, I can highly recommend this fish, it doesnt have flashy colours but the finnage is beautiful - its one of those fish that photos never do it justice too. Like a good wine, the males just get better and better as they mature.

hmm.. maybe tempted again....

Hi Steph

I will post some pics of the borelli parents soon. Ive had them for 6 months now and they have produced 3 batches of fry so far :) . The parents have grown at least 1.5cm since i Aquired them and there colour is fantastic.

Hi Apistoguy.

Great looking fish, particularly the Opal Borelli's!
I purchased a couple of Apisto's recently and it turns out they're 2 female A.Nijsseni (thanks for the I.D Rod ;)). I have them in a 2ft cube with heaps of cover, so for the moment they're leaving each other alone.
If you get yours breeding I may need to speak with you about getting a male, and I'll certainly want to get some OB's if you get them going.
All the best.
