There is also a couple of reliable Aquarium Shops in Brisbane that can help you out:
ANNERLEY AQUARIUM in Coorparoo
SMITHS QUARIUM IN Boondall.
If they do not have the stock avaiolable i am pretty sure they can arrange to get what you are looking for.
Most breeders not not like to part with their breeding stock and normally breeding pairs will cost a bit more than the average fish.

i lost my breeding pair last night carring 4 week old fries when my tank broke. hear broken...managed to only save 9 babies.. mum and dad died

Have you tried Discus World? They're a sponsor of this site and I believe they have recently moved from Harvey Bay to Brisbane.
Their website says they sell confirmed pairs. It might be worth giving them a call. HTH.
