Guys came home today to see one of my discus in the corner of the tank had a closer look and saw one of his eyes was puffed up nearly look like it popping out.
and it look like he has i rash or something has infected his eye.
now sure what it is here are some pics of him

i have a spare 2ft tank i can put him in.

what do i have to do to treat him?

Looks like pop eye, a nasty internal bacterial infection, pop him into the clean 2 footer up the temp to 30c even 31c if you can, begin treatment with metro, if you dont have metro start on a double dose of tri sulpha (1 tablet/20L) till you get some.

also try a little epson salt to help reduce the fluid in the fish 1 tsp/40L.

change as much water as you can every day and re dose the sulpha or metro after each change for a full week.

So only metro will do? i have prazi

ok going to transfer him to 2ft tank rasie the temp and add some salt.

and look for metro.

Metro is doing good with protozoa and anerobic bacteria. In this case, I'll try tetracycline. I'm not sure if you can buy antibiotics without a doctor prescription. But tetracycline has a significant effect in this kind of infection. 250mg per 25L water. Repeat the same dose everyday after a 50% water change. Temp should be maintained at about 30-32'c. well aerated is of course essential.
