co2 tabs

Do C02 tablets work. I was given a plant care kit that contains root tabs, liquid ferts and a co2 diffuser that you add a tablet to that releases into the tank over a 5 hour period. Am I wasting my time withe co2 tabs?

I do not know Leanne, but I would keep an eye on Ph if you start using a lot of these tabs :wink:

Well the out come is I think they do work. My plants were full of black alge and I couldn't get rid of it so I literally stripped them right back and took off every leaf that had even 1 dot of hair alge on it, thought I would try this before I went out and bought all new ones. I put in some crypts and we all know about crypt melt, added some root fert tabs and the Co2 tabs and the plants are looking great well great for me haha.
