Hey mate,

Long time no hear! Great to hear you got through your training and got back close to home.

Work is flat out for me nowadays. I got my Instructor qual a couple of years back, so most of my days are spent trying to stop young guys and girls from killing me

I've scaled things WAY back these days. All but a handfull of Discus are gone sadly. Just keeping a few in a planted display tank in my dining room - and found there's a few bucks to be made from plants if you get the right species growing well for you

Here it is. Hope you like it.

I DO spend ages looking at.. very peaceful after a long day

There was lots of time spent in the planning and build stage, but very minimal care which is great..

Isn't keeping these beautiful fish an amazing hobby,........ 14 days ago i was going to set up one tank and get one pair to get back into it after a long break... Now 2 weeks later I have 8 tanks and 8 pairs set up, from witch 6 pairs have already spawned, can't wait till I get their water right, swampy you should see these fish!

Feel free to PM me some pics mate.

I was lucky enough to get some of Monolicious' beautiful collection last week. What. Great bloke and amazing fish!

I'll be sure to post some pics when they're settled and my tank is worthy of being viewed in public again after a hard trim :P

Hi Brad,

is that shrimps in the breeding container? Can make out a few cbs from the white and black markings. I thought they are good for temp around 24-25? and discus is at 27-29?. If this works, I might throw a few of my crs into my planted discus tank too :)

NO... CRS/CBS will be cooked at that temp!

What you're seeing are a few grains of Up Aqua soil. Must be wishful thinking :P

I run my tank at 28C and have plenty of RCS happy in there. They're actually far brighter in this tank than my dedicated shrimp tank
