Im going through the same problem at the moment.

How long have you had these discus? Tankmates? Etc?

Hi there

by ignoring do you mean you have been feeding them b/h and all of a sudden they have gone off it??

or have you just bought some discus and trying to get them to eat something new?

how many discus do you have how big is your tank?

do you feed them by hand or let it sink??

if we know some of this info it is easier to give advice.

Cheers Justin

be patient keep trying them. my guys took about 2 weeks before they took to it, i feed my crew blood worms and brine schrimp in the morning and discus dinner at night i dont feed b/h out of the cones i use for everything else because they cant pick it through the cone. and when you feed b/h by hand and bits that brake off will be snavelled up by the tetras.
if they dont seem interested just keep trying and if they dont want it give them something else so their routine doesnt change.

Just my 5 cents.
Discus will not starve over night if you dont feed them at all.
Give them zero food for a couple of days and try again with beefheart.

How long without eating before there is a problem?

1-2 weeks should be no problem.

Not so uncommon that wild´s like heckel ect need more time then that to settle in.
Even red mosqito can be tricky there.

Frozen artemia if you can get it could also be a solution.
But try zero food for a while.
