Just wondering if anyone knows whether Poecilocharax weitzmani (http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_Poecilocharax_weitzmani.php) have ever hit Australian shores and if they are still around somewhere?

Yeah I'm assuming that if they have, it would've been a private importing.

The name pops up in a thread from back in 2005 but I'm not sure if they ever made it
