Hello everyone... just thought it would be cool to see what every1 thought of my tank... the first picture is taken at night using actinic bulbs to mimic night time but still able to view the tank.. then later on in the night the actinic bulbs go off and 4 LED lights go on to mimic moon light... the second picture is the side and back of the tank (2 65k bulbs for day time)... i want to add pool sand and have a carpet of hair grass.. i heard pool filter sand works well for discus tanks? anyway any thoughts are welcome 8-)

thanks! what kind of substrate would work to have a carpet of dwarf grass... in the tank now is Seachem Flourite Plant Substrate but i have not had luck getting the grass to spread so i thought it might help to have a layer of pool sand over the Flourite where i want the grass to grow

it is bamboo actually... i've heard from some people that lucky bamboo does well in aquariums, others say it will just rot but i got the bamboo for free so i figured lets see what happens... been in there for about 2 weeks. so far so good...
