I'm not an expert in ID'ing quality discus, but I do know LFS that sell a variety of strains and sizes:

AquaPets, Bondi Junction
Riverside, Campsie
JMS, Carlingford
Fish Rock, Eastwood
Kingsford shop which I can't name
Crystal Palace, Five Dock
Discus World, Homebush - beware, extremely high prices.

Aquaristic (or something similarly named) along Botany Rd in Beaconsfield (near Alexandria) had some decent discus when I went yesterday.

Refer to the post in the Aqua Lounge regarding Discus World.

JMS had some nice discus at good prices when I went the other week. Pity I only want to buy some in a few weeks. I was so tempted.

Fish Rock at Eastwood usually has some good stock. Havent been there for about 2yrs though

clint there is not a lot of high quality discus around at the moment , so pick carefuly , since xtreme had to close . but if you do the leg work there is still a few out there .

Why not try one of our own hobbyist breeders in the classifieds?
