Posted this on the illness board with no responses .... :(

Hi, several of my discus have had this condition. I've treated with Prazipro as well as metro in hospital tank and have had one loss.

Now I've treated entire 240 with Prazi four days ago and this is today's poop.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Ok, it looks like the stomach lining to me, they sometimes shed this if it gets irritated, but could be more sinister.
Try to fill out these criteria below, and it might give us more of a clue.

1. Water parameters
a) Temperature range.
b) pH.
c) GH.
d) KH
e)Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, levels.
f) Water change frequency

2. Tank set up
a) Size.
b) Substrate.
c) Filtration.
d) Furnishings.
e) Other tank mates.
f) How long has it been set-up?
g) When was the last new fish added?

Yours is a bit daunting....having to ensure your plants stay rooted and eradicating the whitish shit.....

I believe what you can do to improve the situation is to:

Make a larger water-change....3 times of at least 3/4 of the water with interval of 3 days.

After each water change, increase the temperature to 31C and put it down back to the norm 6 hours before the next WC....but this may not be good for your plants which need colder water....

Add B complex 120mg per 100 litres of water (Sugar-free).

Add metronidazole @ 1.5 to 2gms per 100 litres of water. Dilute with lukewarm water before pouring in. Further addition in each 24 hours.

Take care,
Andrew :D
