What age

At what age do youy remove the fry from the parents. We are probably at the 4.5 week mark. All eating beef heart. Dad doesn't loook concerned though so I really don't know what to do. Babies are from 2 different parents so about 4 days in age difference so there is a bit of a size difference between the 2 batches

From what I've heard, once the babies are eating beef heart etc, if it safe for them to be separated from their parents.

Can someone else confirm?

I would generally leave them for as long as possible with the parents, depending on how the parents were able to feed them. I would think now that they are feeding independantly you will be fine to remove the parrents....give them a rest
