Hi there

nice, clean looking tank. Plants look healthy. Are some of those swords planted down a little too deep? Hard to tell just from pics, but I thought some might have too much of the stem system buried along with the roots.

Hey, we're a biased lot here, so we do like to see discus in our tanks - but that's just us. You have a nice looking tank, which naturally would only be improved with the addition of discus  :D

thank- you..

needs a background your right! had all intentions, but got to involved with the inside and getting it in the right place in the livingroom, next thing I knew the water was in!.. lol..Going with blue or black.

more plants.. would be ok now, for it was to be somewhat a biotype to my Discus, but it didint turn out that way. waiting to see how they grow for now, I dont run Co2, Im just adding ferts.

Was for my 3 discus, but one has got Flukes ( I, We think) just cant get rid of it..hes still not eating, he wants to but cant. the other 2 cobalts I got from the pet store I work as a mispick on the order, and brought them home. As mentioned here and now see myself even more, that they are poorly stunted. Even through all the hard work of water changes daily for a while, and changing to BB they have gone no where. One is on his way out.. I tryed for all I could... the other Im not sure..
So my Angels have the tank for now..
The tank will see Discus, I think I will buy them grown..since now I have plants in there and I didnt do so well with the young ones..
Then move my 4 angels to, 2 seperate tanks..
TW thanks for pointing that out about the swords, didnt know that, they are growing alot, but might pull them up just a touch.

Just had a look at the swords, up just a touch and moved any gravel from in between the plant itself.
Wasnt alot.. now looking at the pix again the gravel is uneven so it does look like they are down in there, but not as much as it seems..

I think your tank looks great, also i dont think it needs a back ground.I think not having a back ground it gives a greater feel of depth in the tank.
