peppering

Just wondered what causes the peppering. I have a red melon and a pigeon blood both with peppering as my sisters has very little to none. Is there some way of correcting this maybe by lighting ive heard.

it's congenital.... think of them as moles? if only you can burn them off....

In any batch of pigeon bloods there will be varied amounts of peppering but you can reduce this by using a lighter background. There are also other methods of leaving the lights on longer but i havent tried this myself..

thanks for the replys guys I keep my lights on from 7am to between 10.30 and midnight and it hasnt made a difference just must be the way they are
