I was wondering what tetra are good with discus that aren't rummy nose or cardinal
for my 4ftx18x18 tank that is mildly well planted?

My favourite is harlequin.I think they look great with discus.Also glow lights look good too.

rummy nose are good with discus. they are also a great water indicator. if their nose goes pale then the water is no good

also cardinal tetras do very well with discus

just make sure your tetras are big or your discus might eat them!

glowlites work very well they love the heat and the low ph.

Emperors are another option. Make sure you get the true ones - there are another that are passed off as emperors, abut aren't (unless you decide you prefer them - they don't get as big, and I didn't like them as much). From memory they didn't withstand the heat as well either.

harlequins are not tetras. emperors and black neons can handle the higher temps. in the wild tetras are still a natural part of a discus diet
